Zinfon Refractory Products
For The New 36-Chamber Carbon Baking Furnace
Anshan Carbon Co., Ltd.

Our client - Anshan Carbon Co., Ltd. manufactures and operates ultra-high power graphite electrodes and joints, lithium, sodium, and magnesium anodes, materials for graphitized furnace bodies used in lithium battery anode materials, ordinary crucibles, nine-hole graphite crucibles, special graphite products for photovoltaic products, and carbon materials used in rare earth smelting.
Among these, the quality of their graphite electrode joints has reached an advanced level domestically, receiving high praise from users. Their lithium and sodium anode production and quality are also at the forefront in China, with a domestic market share exceeding 80%. In 2021, the company constructed a new 36-chamber carbon baking furnace, for which all the required refractory materials were supplied by our company.
Through joint scientific research and verification with the client, Zinfon Refractory provided a highly cost-effective configuration of refractory materials for different parts of the baking furnace. This not only met the user's desired service life but also significantly reduced the investment budget for refractory materials. The quality of the products and our after-sales service have been unanimously praised by the client.
- The insulation layer of the lower furnace bottom and flue is made of high-quality insulating fireclay bricks (NG125-0.8, NG125-1.0), totaling 520,000 bricks. These bricks have a low thermal conductivity and excellent insulation properties.

- The upper furnace bottom, outer furnace walls, and the flue lining use high-quality fireclay refractory bricks (N-2a, N-2b), totaling 2.4 million bricks. These bricks can withstand a certain level of refractoriness and compressive strength, are wear-resistant, durable, have a long service life, and are cost-effective.

- The working layer in the high-temperature zone of the baking chamber, flame channels, and the inner layers of the furnace walls use high-quality high-alumina bricks (LZ-55), totaling 120,000 bricks. These high-alumina bricks have excellent refractoriness, high load-softening temperature, low creep, thermal shock stability, and slag resistance.
