Dense Fused Alumina mainly consists of α-Al₂O₃, with a primary crystalline phase content higher than 96% and a porosity lower than 4%. It is light gray in color and features a high melting point and very high bulk density.

Dense Fused Alumina exhibits excellent wear resistance, slag resistance, volume stability, and thermal shock resistance at high temperatures. It has good resistance to both acids and alkalis and can maintain stable performance under high-temperature conditions.
