Semi-reconjugated magnesium-chromium bricks:
electrofused magnesium-chromium synthetic sand and sintered magnesium sand, chromite or pre-reacted magnesium-chromium sand as the main raw materials, high-temperature firing. Thermal shock resistance is better than re-bonded magnesium-chromium bricks, with low porosity, high temperature strength, strong resistance to slag erosion performance and other characteristics. It is a kind of intermediate product which takes into account the performance of re-bonded magnesium-chromium brick and direct-bonded magnesium-chromium brick. It is widely used in the non-ferrous industry.
Silicate bonded magnesium-chromium bricks:
It is made of sintered magnesium sand and chromium ore as raw materials, which are matched according to the appropriate proportion and fired at high temperature. Silicate bonded magnesium-chromium bricks are better than magnesium bricks in thermal shock resistance, volume stability at high temperatures, and are widely used in flat furnaces, electric furnaces, non-ferrous metallurgical furnaces, cement rotary furnaces and glass kiln heat storage room. Silicate bonded magnesium-chromium bricks with high SiO2 content, poor erosion resistance at high temperatures, low strength, with the strengthening of the smelting of new processes continue to be used, the use of harsh conditions in parts, and gradually replaced by direct bonded products.
