[Case Sharing] The construction of refractory lining of steel ladle is illustrated by 100 and 250t ladle as an example.
Ladle, also known as steel tanks, steel drums, tanks, it's a lot of types, the masonry materials used are also varied, but the general structure is the same, are composed of the bottom of the package and the package wall of the two parts of the construction method of bricklaying, there are pouring, the bottom of the package with breathable bricks, there is no breathable bricks, there are also live replacement of breathable, water outlet bricks, and so on, and here we will focus on only two of them.
Construction of 250t ladle
A plant 250t ladle (Figure 1) as an example, the package plane type bottom, the bottom of the two breathable bricks, package wall ring masonry, permanent layer with high alumina bricks, the working layer with aluminum-magnesium carbon bricks, slag line parts with magnesium carbon bricks; package wall construction using hydraulic lifting platform.

Permanent layer of masonry at the bottom of the package:
1)Before bricklaying, first check the steel structure comprehensively whether to meet the masonry requirements, confirm qualified before bricklaying; first pull the bottom cross line to check the flatness of the bottom steel plate, local unevenness, you can use micro-expansion casting material or mud to find the level.
2)Take the two trunnions in the opposite direction for the bottom center datum, pull the line to turn 45 ° in the counterclockwise direction, masonry the first layer of the permanent layer of high-alumina bricks, in the first layer of the surface of the masonry to turn 90 °, pull the line Masonry of the second layer of permanent layer of high alumina bricks; two layers of permanent layer masonry to the water outlet and air permeability parts to be reserved square holes; the bottom edge of the ladle reserved jagged gap, with micro-expansion of high alumina castables symmetrically poured and pounded in layers of dense; masonry with a level ruler to control the surface flatness.
3) in the water inlet reserved square hole in the masonry water outlet gasket brick, water outlet gasket brick diameter and metal hole wall diameter must be concentric; in the water outlet gasket brick masonry under the water outlet seat brick, under the water outlet seat brick gap around the symmetrical casting with corundum casting material, pouring to be vibration, do not move the gasket brick and under the water outlet seat brick position, water outlet part of the casting height to the second layer of permanent layer of the level of the prevail.
Cladding wall permanent layer masonry:
Along the bottom edge of the mold to play a circle of casting material to ensure that the package wall permanent layer inside and outside the ring staggered seams, in the casting material on the ring masonry package wall of the first layer of permanent layer of high alumina bricks, masonry to a certain height and then masonry high alumina bricks in the inner ring, staggered seams masonry, with the level of the ruler to control the flatness of the surface of each ring; processing of the bricks in the trunnion area of the hinge door, the upper and lower hinged bricks staggered; the permanent layer of the package masonry to the upper part of the ladle along the baffles with a well-mixed micro-expansion of castable material to plug tightly packaged along the edge.
Package bottom working layer masonry:
Ladle permanent layer drying, masonry on the water outlet seat brick, up and down the water outlet to be concentric, water outlet seat brick around the ring of a circle of bottom working layer of aluminum magnesium charcoal bricks, and then to the direction of the permeable brick masonry row by row of the bottom working layer; masonry to the permeability of the pre-prescribed square holes, masonry breathable cushion bricks, above the installation of permeable bricks; in the permeability of the bricks around the gap between the pouring corundum casting material, the height of the bottom of the second layer of the permanent layer of Horizontal surface shall prevail, leveling after solidification of the castable material, on which in the breathable bricks around a ring of aluminum and magnesium carbon bricks, bricks and breathable bricks in contact with the contact gap should be controlled within lmm; and then build a complete bottom working layer of bricks, leaving jagged gaps at the edge of the symmetrical casting of the bulk expansion of the castable material.
Package wall working layer masonry:

The bottom and walls of the package are evenly coated with antioxidant paint.

Construction of 100t ladle - Spiral laying method
Take a factory 100t ladle as an example to introduce the spiral laying method of ladle wall. As shown in Figure 3.

The bottom of the package water mouth, ventilation holes support mold, with semi-lightweight casting material, its thickness should meet the design requirements, the surface is flat, and slightly tilted to the direction of the water mouth; natural drying 24h, supporting the mold casting package wall, the requirements of the mold is installed correctly, continuous pouring, vibration and vibration of the segments.
(2) Working layer masonry. Package bottom working layer masonry and 250t ladle bottom masonry the same way, after masonry package bottom, package wall working layer masonry respectively from the two trunnion parts of the beginning, the use of slope brick masonry, as shown in Figure 4, and then use the universal type of brick masonry along the package wall immediately adjacent to the permanent layer of castable material spiral masonry until the package mouth anchors under the weld joints.
