
Introduction
CA80 is an aluminate cement with approximately 80% alumina content, low impurity levels, and a balanced combination of CA phase (monocalcium aluminate) and CA₂ phase (dicalcium aluminate). It offers high mechanical strength and excellent high-temperature performance. Suitable for use at temperatures above 1400°C and in contact with molten metal, it requires no additives and is ideal for low-cement or ultra-low-cement castables and other high-performance, non-shaped refractories. It supports various construction methods and can be used for kiln linings and other high-temperature refractory applications.

Indicator parameters
According to the relevant standards, the composition index of CA80 is as follows: Al₂O₃ ≥ 77%; CaO: 18.5%–20.5%; SiO₂ ≤ 0.5%; Fe₂O₃ ≤ 0.5%. The setting time of the mortar complies with standard GB/T 201-2000.
Application
Mainly used in the field of refractory materials, it is commonly used in the formulation of high-purity refractory castables and other unshaped refractory materials. It can be mixed with refractory aggregates, powders, and certain additives to form refractory castables such as high-alumina castables, steel fiber castables, and corundum castables. These products are suitable for various kilns and pipelines across different industries, including iron and steel mills, cement factories, and glass factories, for both new construction and repair of high-temperature kiln linings.
