Description
Carbon Electrode is self‑baking carbon electrode made of calcined petroleum coke and coal tar pitch. It features good electrical conductivity, low resistivity, high thermal stability and excellent mechanical strength. It is continuously consumed and self‑baked during operation inside submerged arc furnaces. It transmits large electric current to generate arc heat for smelting ferrosilicon, silicon manganese, calcium carbide and other alloys. It is low‑cost conductive consumable compared with graphite electrode. Custom diameter and length are available.
