Acid Resistant Brick
Ceramic bricks made from refractory clay are specifically designed for environments exposed to chemical erosion, abrasion, and moderate thermal loads. They are ideal for installation in chimneys, industrial floors, process pits, and as linings for containers.
These bricks offer low porosity, high compressive strength, and excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, ensuring long service life and cost-effective protection in harsh industrial conditions. Acid-resistant bricks can withstand all mineral acids except hydrofluoric acid and can endure operating temperatures up to 400°C (752°F).

Advantage

Durable in corrosive environments
Wear-resistant and chemically inert
Can withstand temperatures up to 400°C (752°F)
Resistant to all mineral acids (excluding HF)
Low porosity, reducing permeability
Suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications
Cost-effective alternative for complex lining systems

| Features | Highest performance requirements. Suitable for occasions with extremely high corrosion resistance demands, such as chemical storage tanks and pickling workshops in strong acid environments. | Secondary performance, but sufficient to meet most industrial anti-corrosion needs. A cost-effective choice. | Suitable for occasions with general corrosion resistance requirements, such as wastewater treatment tanks and salt lake areas. | Highest water absorption, but acid resistance still meets basic anti-corrosion needs. Suitable for cost-sensitive occasions with mild corrosion environments. |

Types

Glaze-free Acid-resistant Bricks
These bricks have no glaze layer on the surface. Fully vitrified through high-temperature firing, they feature low water absorption, high hardness, and excellent wear resistance. Their rough surface provides outstanding anti-slip performance, making them ideal for slip-prone areas.
Glazed Acid-resistant Bricks
These bricks have a glaze layer applied to the surface. After high-temperature firing, they exhibit low water absorption and a smooth glazed surface. While
their anti-slip performance is relatively weaker, they excel in ease of cleaning and stain resistance.
They are well-suited for environments with high cleanliness requirements.
