Description
EAF Gunning Mix is magnesia or magnesia-alumina based gunning refractory. It is compounded from dead-burned magnesia, spinel powder, binder and special functional additives. It features high bonding strength, low rebound ratio, good thermal shock resistance and reliable resistance to basic slag attack. It is used for hot repair of electric arc furnace side wall, slag line and impact zone which are damaged by basic slag. It can be sprayed onto hot lining without cooling the furnace. Different grades for different EAF capacities are available, custom formula is acceptable.
