Description
Alumina Zirconia Carbon Brick is formulated with fused alumina, zirconia powder, graphite and antioxidant additives. Zirconia phase enhances the erosion and penetration resistance against molten steel and inclusions. It keeps excellent thermal shock resistance under frequent temperature fluctuation, and reduces carbon contamination to molten steel. It is a key material for continuous casting. Typical applications: slide gate plate, ladle long nozzle, submerged entry nozzle and well block. It is sensitive to oxidizing atmosphere at high temperature. Custom sizes and special shapes are available.
