Description
Semi-graphite Carbon Block is produced from calcined anthracite and partial graphite with organic binders, baked at high temperature. Its structure is between amorphous carbon and graphitized carbon. It balances thermal conductivity, anti-permeability and cost. It shows good stability against molten iron and alkali metal attack. Compared with super-microporous and microporous carbon block, its anti-penetration performance is moderate, but it has obvious price advantage. It is the preferred material for medium and small blast furnaces. Custom sizes are available.
