Refractory Repair Mix is general-purpose granular refractory repair material with multiple material options, including magnesia, alumina-magnesia, high alumina and corundum. It can be formulated for cold repair or hot repair service. It features good sintering property, strong bonding strength and reliable slag and abrasion resistance. It is widely used for repairing damaged areas of ladles, tundishes, heating furnaces and other industrial furnaces. According to different grades, it can be constructed by spreading, tamping or gunning to fill pits and cracks and slow down lining deterioration. It is a general category, covering different repair scenarios, different from special BOF or EAF dedicated repair mixes. Custom formula and construction type are available.
