Refractory products mainly made of magnesia and graphite (carbon content: generally 10%~20%). The main raw materials include fused magnesia and flake graphite; binders such as phenolic resin and high-temperature pitch are commonly added. They feature low apparent porosity, excellent slag corrosion resistance, molten slag penetration resistance, thermal shock stability and thermal conductivity. They are mainly used for steelmaking oxygen converters, high-power and ultra-high-power electric arc furnaces, secondary refining furnaces, ladle linings, etc.
