Description
CMC Binder (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) is anionic water-soluble cellulose ether. It features good thickening, bonding and water retention performance. It is used as temporary binder and plasticizer for taphole clay, ramming mix, refractory coating, gunning mix and shaped refractory green bodies. It optimizes workability, prevents rapid water loss, reduces drying cracking and raises green strength. It burns out cleanly at medium temperature without residual harmful impurities. Custom viscosity grades are available.
