Description
Dextrin is water-soluble organic carbohydrate binder. It features good plasticity, excellent tackiness and low impurity. It is added into taphole clay, ramming mix, refractory coating and shaped refractory products. It improves workability and plasticity, increases green strength before sintering and reduces cracking during drying. It burns out completely at medium temperature without leaving harmful residues. It is widely used for carbon-containing refractories and plastic refractory mixes. Custom viscosity grades are available.
