Graphite Silicon Carbide Brick is formulated with graphite, silicon carbide grain and special binder, baked at high temperature. Combining the advantages of graphite and SiC, it delivers high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, outstanding thermal shock stability and improved oxidation resistance compared with pure graphite brick. It has good resistance to erosion by molten slag and non-ferrous melts. It is still not suitable for long-term service in strong oxidizing atmosphere. Typical applications: copper smelting furnace, zinc smelting furnace, vertical kiln, molten salt reactor and high-temperature heat treatment furnace. Custom sizes and special shapes are available.
