Description
Our Pyrophyllite Brick is fired refractory product with natural pyrophyllite as main raw material. It shows mild thermal expansion during heating, which helps tighten brick joints and improve lining integrity. It has outstanding thermal shock stability, low thermal conductivity and good resistance to acid slag erosion. The brick surface forms a protective silicate layer when contacting slag, effectively blocking slag penetration and avoiding slag adhesion. It is commonly applied to steel ladle permanent lining, tundish, coke oven regenerator, torpedo ladle and heating furnace flues. Custom sizes and special shapes are available.
