Description
Tundish Cover Precast is integrated refractory precast block for continuous casting tundish cover. It is usually produced from high alumina or lightweight heat-insulating castable. It features low thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance and good resistance to slag splashing. It seals the top of tundish to cut heat radiation loss, avoid air contact with molten steel and reduce reoxidation and temperature drop. Precast design enables fast installation and replacement, shortens tundish turnaround time. Custom shape, thickness and formula are available for different tundish layouts.
