Description
Sagger is box-shaped refractory container, a typical type of kiln furniture. Common materials are mullite, cordierite, alumina and SiC composite. It features high hot strength, good thermal shock resistance, low high-temperature creep and low impurity release. Products are placed inside the sagger before firing. It isolates the workpieces from kiln flame, flue gas and dust, prevents surface defects and contamination. It is widely used for lithium battery cathode materials, electronic ceramics, magnetic materials and fine ceramics sintering. Custom sizes and shapes are available.
