Synthetic magnesia brick is a basic shaped refractory made mainly of synthetic magnesia clinker. Synthetic magnesia clinker is produced by purification and high-temperature calcination from magnesite or seawater/brine magnesium raw materials, featuring low impurity content and uniform crystal structure. This brick has high MgO content, high refractoriness and superior resistance to alkaline slag erosion with high hot strength. Typical chemical composition: MgO ≥95%, controllable CaO/SiO₂ ratio. It is widely applied in the burning zone of cement rotary kilns, lime kilns and other metallurgical furnaces under high-temperature alkaline service conditions. Typical physical indexes: bulk density ≥2.90 g/cm³, cold crushing strength ≥60 MPa.
