Fused Magnesia Brick is produced with electro-fused magnesia as main raw material. Electro-fused magnesia is melted above 2800°C in an electric arc furnace, forming large periclase crystals. The brick has high density, low apparent porosity, outstanding resistance to alkaline slag erosion and penetration, and stable high-temperature volume performance. Note: It belongs to basic refractory. It is not compatible with acidic refractories at high temperature, and its thermal shock resistance is moderate. It is mainly applied to heavy-duty areas: steel ladle slag line, EAF hearth, AOD converter, torpedo ladle, RH vacuum degasser and high-grade non-ferrous furnaces. Standard sizes and custom special shapes are available.
