Description
Electrode Paste is carbon-based composite mixture composed of calcined coke, graphite, coal tar pitch and other carbon binders. It features good electrical conductivity, stable sintering property, high mechanical strength and low thermal expansion. It is the core raw material for self-baking electrodes of submerged arc furnaces. It gradually softens and carbonizes under furnace heat to form continuous conductive electrode. It maintains stable shape and avoids electrode breakage during smelting. It is widely used for ferroalloy, silicon metal, calcium carbide smelting. Custom formula and softening point grades are available.
