Description
Polypropylene Fiber is fine polypropylene staple fiber, the most common anti-explosive additive for refractory castables. It features low melting point, uniform dispersion, clean burnout and no harmful residues. During heating, the fiber melts and volatilizes, leaving micro drainage channels inside the refractory matrix. Steam can escape freely without building high internal pressure, effectively preventing explosive spalling of castables and precast blocks during rapid heating. It is widely used for low cement castables, ultra-low cement castables and heavy refractory linings. Custom fiber length is available.
