Description
Steel Fiber is high-temperature resistant metallic fiber. It features high tensile strength, good ductility and strong bonding with refractory matrix. It is added into castables and gunning mixes to absorb stress, restrict crack propagation and enhance flexural strength and thermal shock resistance. It reduces the risk of peeling and fracture under thermal cycling. It is widely used for heating furnace lining, tundish and heavy-duty industrial furnace linings. Custom length and shape are available.
