Description
Ladle Lip Precast Block is precast monolithic refractory fitted at the pouring lip of steel ladle. It is mainly alumina-carbon, alumina-magnesia or corundum castable. It features high hot strength, good thermal shock resistance and excellent slag and steel erosion resistance. It is installed at the ladle lip where molten steel flows out. It shapes the pouring spout, reduces steel splashing, prevents local lining erosion and extends ladle service life. It is a heavily worn part and easy for replacement. It is widely used for carbon steel, alloy steel and clean steel ladles. Multiple grades are available, custom formula acceptable.
